My goal is to fascinate all who see my work.

 

Growing up in the 80's in Sydney Australia my main influences were Transformers and Macross/Robotech , which are still my favourites and of cause most of the other animated cartoon of that time on TV .

I’m a large collector of figures, from my favourite anime figma figure to Macross 1/60 build, Metal Build Gundam , Hot toys , Masterpiece Transformers and any cool robots :)

 

I got into costuming figures because most of the transformers figures weren’t up to scratch in the paint application. They just look too plain or horrible so I did my own paint scheme. The actually figure is an amazing engineering feat, especially with the masterpiece range now which look exactly as the cartoons did.  

One of my main inspiration was from the great transformer customizer FrenzyRumble, his works are truly amazing. Also the transformers customizing community for their helpful tips, advice and great customs. And now that im into building gundam kits again, there's a great community out there that very helpful and even more amazing inspirational art works and dioramas.

 

Don’t be afraid to think outside the box when you come up with an idea, because that the fun thing about customising is that you can do whatever you imagine, there is no right or wrong. Just try it out and if it doesn’t come out nice you can always clean it up and start again. But like with everything you have to put the time and effort into it to get better. Just lots and lots of practise.

 

I also recently took up Archery, I always wanted to try it out but never had the time and also never had any exposure to it, but now I just love it. Im doing compound archery as I like all the engineering that is put into a compound bow, you can just max it out with equipment parts and it just looks badass with all the gears and accessories on to help you shoot. It also a stress reliever cause when you’re out on the range you have to clear your mind and just focus on the target. So during that time you don’t think about anything else .If you haven’t tried archery yet just got out and do it. And try a Compound bow! It’s a big difference to a recurve bow, cause that is just abit too traditional for me.
